Joie Kim

Joie aspires to encourage young women in her community and beyond, and is driven by the values of empowerment and advocacy. Joie was first introduced to Miss CEO when she attended the Summer Leadership Academy in 2020. Here, she acquired priceless skills to amplify her leadership and confidence. After two years of serving as an ambassador, Joie is excited to continue her Miss CEO journey as an intern this year. Joie is a senior at Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Washington. As someone who strives to lead change in her community, she serves as the ASB President at her high school and is also the Chief Editor of her school newspaper where she aims to spotlight global issues and call for change. Joie is passionate about bridging the gender gap in STEM and hopes to pursue a career in medicine. In her free time, she enjoys baking, watching sunsets, and trying new foods with her family and friends.
