Ria Kumar
Ria, a high school junior from San Jose, California, is an avid financial literacy advocate, athlete, pianist, Girl Scout, and animal welfare activist. Her interests were further fortified through the business and entrepreneurship education and experience she has gained from courses and reputable university summer programs.
An entrepreneur, she has founded her own non-profits and sole proprietorships, through which she pursues her passions. She is also deeply focused on the powerful impacts of well-being and self-care through exercise and sports. Having played soccer and volleyball competitively, she is a fast sprinter and spent two years on her high school volleyball team as a middle and co-captain. Her focus on health continues with regular cardio and strength training, and she actively encourages others around her to join in.
She is also a social media marketer, having built strong outreach and marketing skills through San Jose City internships as well as work with her own organizations. Now, she looks forward with great excitement to her role as a Miss CEO ambassador, where she hopes to further assist with Miss CEO’s goals, hone her social media marketing experience, and expand her network.
