Selma is a junior at Pioneer High School in San Jose, CA. Tired of being the only girl in her computer science classes, she actively works to encourage young girls by teaching them about the wonders of STEM. She is also passionate about leveraging AI for social good, and an avid student researcher. In her free time, she likes to doodle in her math notebook and volunteers at a kitten rescue with her sister.
